About Anti-Aasgier

My name is Wido. With years of experience in the legal field – including within the gambling industry – I help businesses defend themselves against the growing claim culture in the Netherlands. That mission led me to start Anti-Aasgier Legal Services.

My career began at a bailiff’s office, where I witnessed how small unpaid debts could explode due to collection fees and legal threats. Although I couldn’t align myself with that approach, I learned exactly how the system works. Today, I use that knowledge to assist entrepreneurs who find themselves on the receiving end of that very system.

Later, I worked as in-house counsel at a legal firm that sued airlines on behalf of consumers. It became increasingly clear to me how litigation was sometimes used more as a revenue model than a path to justice.

That experience proved valuable when I joined an online casino. There, I saw firsthand how players increasingly try to reclaim lost funds – sometimes with merit, but often without. What stood out to me was how little control many gambling operators had over these legal pressures, and how difficult it was to find affordable and appropriate legal support.

With that in mind, I founded Anti-Aasgier Legal Services: a practice specifically aimed at supporting online casinos and other businesses that want to defend themselves against unjustified or excessive claims.
